After much consideration and after meeting with the Corps of Engineers and Jefferson County Emergency Management and Rock Community Fire District the 2019 Kimmswick Strawberry Festival will be canceled.

After realizing the river will be rising and Hwy K will be closed along with the entrance from Windsor Harbor it is just not feasible during a festival to have only one way in and out of town. We will not place our vendors, visitors, or residents in any sort of delayed emergency response if medical services or fire equipment is needed. The parking logistics for our 30,000 plus visitors was also a major consideration in this decision.

There will not be a makeup date.

We have begun to notify all vendors via phone or email, if you are a vendor you will have a choice of a refund or to carry your payment over for the 2020 festival. You may contact City Hall at 636-464-7407 and leave a message, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
