2025 Apple Butter Festival
October 25th and 26th.

The Kimmswick Apple Butter Festival is fun for the entire family! It is held each year on the last full weekend of October. It goes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The Kimmswick Apple Butter Festival is the largest celebration Kimmswick has each year, hosting over 400 vendors, multiple live entertainment performers, and attracting over 100,00 visitors over the course of 2 days! In addition to the vendors, multiple activities, and live entertainment, the City of Kimmswick park will be open to children. This is a PET FRIENDLY EVENT!
Here are the activities happening around town:
🦘 Ellie Mae’s Menagerie – Kangaroo Encounters!
Visit City Park (at 5th & High St.) to meet kangaroos and wallabies! For a small fee, you can step inside to hang out with them and take photos to last a lifetime.
🐴 Hearts with Hooves – Horseback Rides
Located in the lower portion of City Park, Hearts with Hooves will be offering $10 rides for kids and adults. This non-profit provides equine therapy that helps children build valuable life skills.
🐺 Irish Wolfhound Association
Stop by City Park at P42 to meet the gentle giants of the Irish Wolfhound Association! Come say hello, give some pets, and learn all about these beautiful dogs and their furry friends. For $1 you can kiss a wolfhound! Be sure to stop by to get your memorable photo with these fun-loving pets:)
🪓 Wolf Ridge Log Splitters – Live Demonstrations
Catch Wolf Ridge Log Splitters in action throughout both days of the festival! They’ll be doing live demonstrations showcasing their powerful log splitters — a fun and fascinating watch for all ages.
🔥 Apple Butter Pavilion – A Taste of Tradition
Don’t miss the Apple Butter Pavilion, where the Kimmswick Historical Society will be demonstrating how apple butter used to be made the old-fashioned way — slowly simmered in large copper kettles over an open fire! 🍎🔥
They’ll also be selling the famous Historic Kimmswick Apple Butter — a festival favorite and perfect souvenir to take home.
⛳ Birdie Pop Golf – Mobile Golf Simulator
Take a swing on the basketball court in City Park! Birdie Pop Golf offers a fun mobile golf simulator experience. Try your shot for a small fee and check out their custom merch — shirts, hats, hoodies, and more!
🎨 Face Painting Fun – Three Locations!

✨ Glitter Faces – Glitter tattoos & hair tinsel at M7 on Market St. near 4th St. (in front of Kimmswick Keepsake)
✨ The Hope Project St. Louis – Free face painting at booths 126 & 127 in the City Hall Field. This non-profit supports veterans, first responders, and their families through equine-assisted programs.

Currency Options:
Most vendors accept card payments; however, ATMS will be provided within the festival grounds at the Kimmswick City Park (the corner of 5th St. and Beckett St.), at the corner of Market and 2nd St., corner of Elm St and 2nd St., and in City Hall Field next to the garages off of Elm St. Some vendors also offer VENMO, PAYPAL, & CASHAPP options.
Shuttle Buses:
Shuttle Bus Routes run between Windsor Intermediate/High School Campuses and town.
Drop Off Location: 5th & Vine St., and Mill St at Windsor Harbor Lane
Bus Return Pick Up Locations: 5th at Vine St., AND Front St at Mill St.
*** Buses will continue to run until all cars are gone from the parking lots***
*Strollers are welcome on the buses*

Visitor Parking: The field located on the NORTH side of HWY K (weather permitting), Windsor School Campuses with bus shuttle services, Windsor Harbor Rd., and the Anheuser Estate. The ballfield on the North side of Hwy K offers Handicap parking. Windsor Elementary is accessible from Montebello (off 61/67)-they provide handicap parking as well. Windsor High School and Middle School provide handicap parking. Majority of the parking lots charge $10.00 to park. It does NOT cost anything for the bus ride itself (from Windsor Schools to the festival grounds). There are ADA buses available for those who need it. Strollers are welcome on the buses. THERE IS NO PARKING ALONG THE SIDES OF HIGHWAY K for safety reasons. Multiple fields are open for parking, weather permitting.
Resident-Family & Friend Parking
Every resident must have their resident sticker visible in their vehicle driver side windshield. Family and Friends must have their digital parking pass printed with QR code displayed on dashboard for easy scanning in emergency situations for emergency personnel. You can obtain your parking stickers from City Hall, located at 6041 Third St. and/or request the link to the family/friend parking passes.
Vendor Parking: ONLY vendors renting booth spaces from the City of Kimmswick will be permitted to park in the field located on the SOUTH side of HWY K (When entering the town from 61/67) at Waste Management. Vendors will be required to place parking placard in visible location for event staff. This placard will be provided when you pick up your packet at City Hall (6041 Third St. ) Private space rentals should be handled with owner renting the spaces.
Merchant Parking: The Kimmswick Police Department will be closing the streets to incoming cars at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday so be sure you are in town by then if you want to drive to your business that is providing parking to you over the course of the weekend.
VEHICLES PARKED ON CITY STREETS WITHIN THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS WILL BE TOWED IF LOCATED AFTER 8:00 A.M. each day of the festival.
Restrooms:
Portable restrooms will be located in several places within the festival. Handicap restrooms will also be available, to include the restrooms inside the Visitor Center.
Emergency Services:
Emergency staff will be on site for medical and incident response . They will be stationed at City Hall during the festival, located at 6041 Third St.
LOST CHILDREN: Children will be relocated to City Hall until able to reunite with family.
THE 2026 APPLE BUTTER APPLICATIONS WILL BECOME AVAILABLE ON OCTOBER 25, 2025.
BOOTH SPACE PRICING WILL BE INCREASING.
THE NEW DEADLINE FOR THE 2026 APPLE BUTTER FESTIVAL WILL BE FEBRUARY 15, 2026.
